FBA - Fulfillment By Amazon

This guide is a walk-through explaining how to use FBA with Linnworks. First of all, let's understand the difference between FBA and FBM.

What is FBA?

FBA stands for Fulfilled by Amazon. This means that rather than processing your own orders, you send a portion of your stock to an Amazon warehouse, and they fulfil the order for you. FBA will handle all the warehouse management, picking & packing, shipping and after-sales support for your orders.

What is FBM?

FBM simply means Fulfilled by Merchant and includes any Amazon listings not flagged for FBA by default.

How to set up FBA in Linnworks?

Go to Settings > Channel Integration and click on the Edit Channel button

Click the FBA Checkbox. Enabling FBA in your Amazon config will allow Linnworks to download FBA orders into an automatically created FBA location. The name of the new FBA location will be the Amazon channel integration's Subsource name, followed by 'FBA'.
